Minhajur Rahman Chowdhury Mahim

Hi! I’m Minhaj, a Computer Science graduate from KAIST. I hail from Bangladesh, and currently study in South Korea.

I worked on VLM reasoning capabilities at the Machine Learning & Vision Lab (MLV), advised by Prof. Hyunwoo J. Kim. Previously, I researched low-resource language processing in LLMs at the U&I Lab under Prof. Alice Oh.

My research interest lies at the intersection of NLP and Computer Vision, where I explore ways to enhance the capabilities of LLMs and MLLMs. I believe that achieving AGI requires systems that are multilingual, multicultural, and multimodal, which would be capable of understanding and reasoning across all means and demographies.

Outside work, I enjoy playing guitar and cycling!
